Donkey Kong Country 2: Diddy’s Kong Quest elevates Rare’s 16-bit platforming with pirate aesthetics, Dixie Kong’s helicopter spin, and the Lost World quest.
Diddy Kong pairs with Dixie Kong to rescue Donkey Kong from Kaptain K. Rool on Crocodile Isle. Dixie’s signature helicopter ponytail hover provides airborne gliding and precise landing control. Players collect Kremkoins from secret bonus barrels to pay Klubba for toll access into the volcanic Lost World.
Dixie Kong’s helicopter spin is your most powerful tool for crossing long spike beds and thorny bramble corridors. In Bramble Scramble, tap Jump during flight to feather your descent and avoid contact with floating Zinger hornets.
This is the 1995 Super Nintendo / Super Famicom sequel, acclaimed for David Wise’s atmospheric soundtrack including "Stickerbush Symphony".
